Design Lab Information

Tools/Equipment needed 
* Slot screwdriver – long - available from Astra
* Waxing tool/tube bender - available from Astra
* Rubber model former - from your supplier
* Guide for angle of tube bend - home made 

Follow Instructions for Cresco Models in Manual 
* One pour of diestone (Type IV) into model former
* New Cresco supplied replicas only!
* Pink silicone - not too deep - see manual
* Make sure retentive end of replica is clean - no pink silicone or separator
* Don’t articulate this model
* Replicas not near edge of model - 10mm in from edge 

Wax Bar on Second, Articulated Model 
* Use non Cresco replicas if you like
* Avoid weak framework designs
* Keep bridge leg clear of wax with end of waxing tool
* Don’t overtighten screws on plastic tubes - use driver supplied with waxing tool
* Don’t worry about the precise dimensional accuracy of casting, don't try fitting down on machining model 

Parts to be sent to Precision Laboratory 
* Cresco model
* Cast bar (& laser welding wire if alloy is not Ti or CoCr)
* Bridge supports & screws (including lot numbers if not in blister packs)
* Impression
